   1. Turn on the PSP.
   2. Go to the "Settings" category (it's the one farthest to the left).
   3. Scroll down to the "System Settings" icon and press x.
   4. Scroll down to "System Information" and press x.
   5. The screen will display the PSP's MAC Address, System Software Version, and Nickname. The "System Software Version" is the firmware version.

I am not sure, I didn't do the mod to it, a friend did it for my son.  And now that I look on the memory stick only cso files are in the iso file. 
Is there a way to find out which firmware I am using or should i redo the memory stick with a different firmware

Hmmm....I think i'll wait to respond to this one! At least until we have more info!! But if ur PSP can run CSO, it should run ISO too. Do u have an ISO folder in ur memory stick?? Do as Camero says and check the firmware and get back to us Peace--SK

You are correct if the psp can do a cso it can do iso's If he followed my topic on running my games he should be ok

ok it is 3.71 M33-2
 and yes I have an ISO folder that is where I put the cso's

Makes sense! k_b89, download camero's torrent "NextGen MMS v07" it will bring you up to 4.01 M33-2 . It is real easy to follow or u can go to: http://www.psp-hacks.com/category/firmware/custom-firmwares/ That site has alot of info and direct downloads, I think you will find some pretty cool stuff there! You can go up to 5.00 m33-6, but I like the 4.01 myself, cause it keeps the most functionality across the firmwares. Peace- SK

Night how do i go about getting LBP free? i did have a PSN account on my old psp and its still active. I heard i get to choose 2 free games out of a choice of 5 but i cant find out where i do this.
