Hi hope that this place it's a good one to share my knowledge about the "Art" of exporting.
Export is the technique with which you put your own .torrent file on other website called indexer. Like mininova.
Also h33t is a site that permit this. Infact I'm an "export expert" of tntvillage.org.

In tntvillage we have a group of person that help person to export their files. They export the .torrent file for the person that have some temporary problems and help training answering to any question that a releaser could make about the export. (The most important thing after releasing
)
So, I'm part of this group.
In this group, as you could imagine, there is a lot of knowledge in order to have a fast and perfect export. Knowledge based on experience of day to day community helping.
So I want to share you some information about export.
I decide to write this down because I have seen the new advise for exportin
only on mininova.
I think that for the release presented here this technique is not the best one.
We have seen that (apart for demonoid return that change a lot of things) the 80-85% of peer that you could have, if you would export on quite every site that permit export, come from mininova.
So could be a great think to export
only on mini.
But. a bit but.
The torrent that you export on mini are copied from every single site (the only two in my indexer or site list that doesn't do this are: demonoid and h33t), but this site copy the torrent from feed rss of mini, and they copy the torrent with a lot of
error1 : Name cut. The most common think that happens is a cut of the name to the name of the .torrent file
So if you try to say something like that this files comes from h33t and you put [h33t.com] only on name and description but not on .torrent file, sometimes happens that on other site you lose this kind of information.
2: Category error. Mininova has a selection of category that I personal hate
But could be useful for other things. Like searching any anime movie of a particular anime.
So the common error that happens is that if the web site that copy the .torrent file doesn't have the same category it could put the .torrent in a
completely wrong one. I personal saw a anime put in music.
This happens from the bot that these indexers have to copy from mininova feed.
And it's something really common.
Every indexer has its own category list. And so user of that site are used to use it
So it's definately better to put the .torrent in the right category.
3: Description goodbye. H33t is really famous for its description. You have this tutor rules and rules for description that it's you strength point. So you have to pass this way of describe you torrent on mininova at least.
There there isn't so many well descripted torrent. But the well descripted are also better choosen

The other websites that copy from mini
never copy the description.
So as you could see I don't think that exporting
only on mininova is a good think.
Then give "some" advice.
Export is really useful to let everybody know about your community. Just a name with [h33t.com] makes user to wonder what h33t is. and so start come here and using h33t
Than exporting increase the peer. And so the seed. And so the life of any torrent.
It's important as I said before to export in a lot of website with the properly description, name and category.
On tntvillage we use right now the following adviced website.

And we advice to leave Mininova as the last site. It's better the day after the complete export on the others.
Why? It's simple. Here on h33t you have your peer/Seed. after export you have increase the number of peer and so you swarm health is better.
And so you are ready to present you a healthy swarm on mininova, catch the 80% of peer with a strong swarm.
Advice for fast exporting:
First prepare in you preferenced bookmark of
every website on the Upload page. Put all of this in a folder (or more if you run out of ram like me) Than use the right click open in tab
So you have all the website ready for exporting.
The description:
Two simple advice. give a good name and end it with [h33t.com]
Put this name in a text.
After that copy the description that you have put here on h33t.
At least put a small description with the technical data. (bitrate of music, Qf AR ecc)
So you have a text file with first line the name
and than the description.

Then here we are. Copy
all the text file content And past in every field (name and description) This made that only the first line goes on name field. and all description goes on description

Than choose the right category and upload the .torrent file.
At the end.
Export is quite important for every torrent. Do it in the right way could make the difference.
And that is the base. We have some other tool for a better code based description but the tool is not free for the moment. so...
