seed policy

seed policy is

1. do not upload what you do not intend to seed

2. i prefer you keep older torrents alive by keeping a forced seed on them. however, you do not need to seed torrents with no peers and you may allow the torrent to be archived (dead). when the seed needed button is used on an archived torrent, or you see new peers arrive, then seed again

3. delete a torrent you do not want to seed

for example of how it works in practise look at the torrents of migel and see the older torrents which are archived. migel will reseed any of those torrents if you request a seed

only internal torrents without a seed display the reseed button in the description. only members can request a seed
