what brand video card do you game on

well this is been a long ask question   ??? ??? ???

for those who use 3dfx card you get the befits of being able to play 3dfx opengl and glide games and sum newer  games to, go old school  ;D

and those who use ati you get a good  price  video card and a grate gaming  hardware for DirectX games

nvidia cards are the fastest  and sum of the  best out there but they can cost a lot  of money and eat up power  but it's worth it

intel  well they  are often a  onbard and are good but not the best for gaming

other if you like sum other kind of video card please  post it

I remember when the voodoo 3dfx card was the best thing out I got one the same week it was released and got many years out of it. I have to admit it has been a long time since I even thought of a new card so I will keep an eye on this post to maybe learn something.

I use NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500.
My opinion is that the Nvidia is the best video card for games. 8)

True these are powerful cards, but? .... its like having a 1500 mph car running on roads that only allow 800 mph maximum :P

PS3 dont have that problem ;D

Used to be a Voodoo Fanatic  ;D even had the 5500 in AGP once that FINALLY died and i melted the multiple chips myself with map gas for a proper burial , I spent 1200$ on an EVGA 8800GTX when it came out and am still quite happy :P altho i gotta say, the 690 is finally a worthy upgrade in my eyes, i've watched a Radeon 4870 on the exact same spec's and the 8800 Still outperforms when it come's to dynamic lighting and effect's. Must have been that acquisition of 3dfx  ;) Nvidia FTW.
