However over the years it was assimilated like many other regions, into Greece. Although you can still find villages there that speak Macedonian the Greek government has done a well enough job of burning textbooks that teach the language and fucking up our history as a whole.

 If I really wanted to stoop to your level of nationalism I'd probably tell you that today's Greece is just a mix of turks and Helenians. But that would be as low and incorrect as your statement.

FYROM was the name the gave us not the one we chose. About 129 countries recognize Macedonia as Macedonia.

Didn't insult the entire nation I was referring to the government . Probably shouldn't of used profanity in the sentence. I apologize if it came off as racist.
